The glass lamination process

Laminated glass is an assembly consisting of two or more glass panels, glued together with one or more special synthetic films.

Lamination increases the glass’s strength and reduces the risk of injury; in case of breaking the glass sheets, the fragments remain stuck to the synthetic sheet.

In addition, it can also sustain its function in case of breaking one of the glass sheets.

Designating glass lamination

The calculation of the laminated glass assembly, the determination of the number and thickness of the glass sheets, as well as the number of synthetic sheets is carried out precisely according to the project specifications to meet the optimal strength and safety requirements.

For increased strength, the glass can be tempered before lamination.
